Crypto Arbitrage Profit Calculator
Estimate the difference between a buy and sell price after transaction costs—and understand why an apparent spread may not be executable.
Calculate an estimated net spread
Model: gross profit = (sell − buy) × quantity; estimated costs = buy × quantity × cost%. Net excludes financing, funding, transfers, taxes and price moves during execution.
Example
Buying 10 units at $100 and selling at $100.60 gives $6 gross spread. If estimated combined fees and slippage are 0.35% of the $1,000 buy notional, estimated costs are $3.50 and the net is $2.50, before other costs.
What can erase an apparent opportunity?
- Order-book depth: the quoted top price may only be available for a small amount.
- Latency: quotes can change between placing the buy and sell orders.
- Funding and basis: spot–perpetual positions have ongoing funding and convergence risks.
- Exchange constraints: minimum order sizes, margin rules and withdrawal restrictions can block execution.

How to evaluate a trade
Use executable order-book prices for the intended size, estimate both legs' fees, add realistic slippage, account for funding and collateral, and reject trades with insufficient margin for error.
